It’s kind of hard to find a perfect vegan chicken substitute, but this simple Chicken-style tofu recipe might get you close!

Though the natural texture of tofu doesn’t naturally lend itself as a chicken substitute, it does have the ability to absorb flavors that it’s soaked in, and with a little work with some dry extra-firm tofu, you can get your vegan chicken substitute together really quickly!

There are pre-prepared vegan chicken substitutes available as well if you need something quick 🙂

This particular vegan chicken substitute comes with an Asian flavor so feel free to experiment with the ingredients you add to the sauce!

There’s nothing better than a good old cherry pie, but far two many of my friends seem to have given up this delicious treat over the years. It’s surprisingly hard to find a good vegan cherry pie, but the good news is, it’s not hard to bake one yourself.

For the pie crusts in this recipe we suggest using our easy vegan pie crust recipe!

We really hope you enjoy this vegan cherry pie recipe, it’s great for a vegan 4th of July!

These cupcakes are awesome and so easy to make! You can also turn them into any type of cupcake by adding whatever icing you want, and after that, top them with all kinds of really great stuff like cookies, sprinkles, or whatever you like!

*note*

This recipe can double as a cake recipe. All you have to do is pour the entire batter mixture into a large glass casserole dish and bake it the same amount of time, give or take 5 minutes.

If you’re looking for vegan frosting you can check out our recipe here!

This goes *really* well with the chocolate cupcake recipe from this site!  First, I might warn you that I don’t typically use measurements, so you will have to do lots of tasting when you try this out for the first time, but it tastes really good, so I’m sure you won’t mind.  :p

Jessica Dill’s Perfect Biscuits and Gravy

This recipe has saved my life so many hungover mornings.  One of the things I miss the most since converting to veganism is really tasty, buttery breakfast biscuits smothered with peppery gravy…just like my grandma used to make.  My friend Jessica has figured out how to recreate this delicious breakfast item, which can also be found on her website, theveganvixen.com.  Give it a try and let us know what you think!  This recipe makes about 10 biscuits, depending on the size you make them.  I usually double the recipe and save the extra dough for another day because they are best when they are fresh from the oven!

Here’s another recipe that my friend Jessica came up with.  If it were safe to post her address on here so we could all send her a thank-you note for perfecting this recipe, I would do it.  But for now, I recommend just making a big bowl of it and eating it with our Vegan Buffalo Wings or use it for dipping your favorite veggies in!
