Vegan Danish Cinnamon Rolls

These are great for taking to a vegan brunch.  They are small, cute, and really delicious – especially when still warm. This is a tasty snack as well, and we love to bake these for parties!

The last three ingredients are for the filling (you will be using half of this for the filling and the other half gets slapped on top of each cinnamon roll when it comes out of the oven!)

Vegan Dutch Apple Beignets

In The Netherlands, the Dutch celebrate St. Nichols Day, which is their equivalent of Christmas.  There are many awesome Dutch recipes out there, but unfortunately most of them involve some kind of meat or dairy.  However, these tasty little apple fritters are totally vegan and every bite is delicious.

Make sure to eat immediately after cooking.  They don’t make very nice left overs!

Jade’s Vegan Mushroom Paté

Recently, I went to an amazing vegan/veggie restaurant in Amsterdam, in the historic Jordaan district called De Bolhoed.  One of the most highly recommended items on the menu was their mushroom paté, which I had to order out of curiosity.  Today, I attempted to make my own version of this delicious savoury starter and it was a wild success!

This is also an AMAZING spread on sandwiches!
