Ingredients

  • 2 Cups
    Self Raising Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 Cup
    Caster sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons
    Sunflower oil
  • 1 Cup
    Soy milk
  • 1
Orange (Separate the zest and juice)
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Vanilla essence
  • 100 Grams
    Dark chocolate
  • Small Cake Cases + pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 380 Fahrenheit

  2. Making this delicious recipe is easy, first combine and mix all the dry ingredients (except the chocolate).  Once they have been well mixed slowly add the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Once the mixture is complete, use a spoon to place the mixture in the paper cases, don't overfill though, as the mixture will rise!

  4. Place in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.  Once cooked, take the cakes out of the oven and leave to cool, once they have completely cooled off, melt some chocolate and spread it evenly over the top of each cake.

  5. Leave the chocolate to cool, and you will have your fresh orange Vegan Easter cakes!
